Everyone is in need of a concealer to cover a little more than dark under eye circles. That is where both Benefit Erase Paste and bareMinerals Correcting Concealer come in. Both have their pros and cons, however, there is one which rises to the top.
I tried Benefit’s Erase Paste in No. 2 medium. I have light circles under my eye, some redness around my nose, and the occasional blemish. I would say that the Erase Paste offers medium to full coverage. Now, if you have dry skin and/or fine lines, you may find this concealer a little difficult to work with. However, if you dab a little primer before usage, there should not be a problem. Also, remember when using Benefit’s Erase Paste a little goes a long way. This is also NOT a brightener. It is strictly for covering facial flaws. The Erase Paste lasts all day. It did not have problems “disappearing.”
Then there is bareMinerals Correcting Concealer. I tried the Light 2 color. The bareMinerals felt lighter in consistency than the Benefit. It did crease like the Benefit and settled into my fine lines. But unlike its competition, it does not crease when set with your favorite powder. Benefit had one leg up on bareMinerals. This concealer only lasted for 6 to 8 hours with powder. But bareMinerals did cover the redness around my nose without looking too cakey. And just like the Benefit Erase Paste, you only need a little concealer to go a long way.
So who is the winner? My vote goes to bareMinerals Correcting Concealer. I like the fact that it does not go on very cakey and that I only need a little bit of product to color the redness around my nose and light dark shadows under my eyes.
bareMinerals Correcting Concealer may be purchased for $20.00 at Ulta, Sephora, www.bareescentuals.com and www.beauty.com.

Great comparison, will probably skip both products because I am dry skin and the only area I conceal is under my eyes. I can't use anything that will crease and settle into fine lines. 🙁

If you are looking for something that conceals without settling into line I would look at the new product from Rimmel's Match Perfection Conceal & Highlighter. You can get it at Walmart.
I hope it works for you!

I use Benefit's Boi~ng for inner dark circles, and it works well enough to cover any imperfections and blemishes.

I tried Bo-ing and found it to be consistent with BareMinerals Correcting Concealer. But I do like the Bo-ing.
