The latest and greatest mascara from L’Oreal has hit the market with its Voluminous Butterfly Intenza. Why is it so great? It comes with a double wing tip shape that gives your lashes extreme volume for an intense fanned appearance. The fiber infused formula instantly coats the lashes with a rich veil of color for longer looking, intensely charged lashes with up to 9x the volume.
L’Oreal mascaras have quickly become my new favorites, and this is
largely due to the Butterfly line. I love the original formulation, and
the new Intenza formula does not disappoint. This mascara fans out my
lashes and gives all day volume, separation, and definition. My lashes
do not uncurl, nor does the color smudge under my eyes.

This is a good mascara. If you like the original, there is a good chance you will like this too.
It is not super wet and smeary like I find many L’Oreal
mascaras to be. And it is easy to use. I don’t have the patience to do 3-4 coats
anymore, so I like mascaras that provide a lot of black impact on the
very first coat, and that really delivers.

This could very well be holy grail status for me. As soon as I put it on the
other morning, I said, “wow” out loud because the length and volume were
amazing. The twisted, small, plastic brush with very short bristles
really does make your lashes flutter, like butterfly wings, and it is a
great look. It’s a dry formula that doesn’t smudge or flake. I wore it
nearly 16 hours yesterday and it looked just as good at the end of the
night as it did in the morning, freshly applied.

This is one of the best, if not the absolute best, in the drugstore. The product makes my
lashes totally pop. I like it a lot for the way it looks. It is near the
top of the drugstore price range but it is excellent.

L’Oreal’s butterfly line of mascaras have been wonderful in my opinion. They work really well and can give that false lash look if you want it, and I do.
L’Oreal’s Voluminous Butterfly Intenza retails for $8.99. It may be purchased at your local drugstores, WalMart, Ulta and Target.

Wow- I'm usually unimpressed with this brand's mascaras, but this really looks like the 3D Fiber Lash mascara, at a bargain, and without the fibers that fall into your eyes! Thanks for sharing 🙂

I was wondering about this mascara, but the brush came across as gimmicky so I gave it a skip. I will pick this up to try the next time I go mascara shopping, anything that holds the curl is right up my alley. xx

Great review! I am certainly going to try this! I am not a fan of L'Oreal mascaras though… but I will give it a try. Thanks!

I was impressed with it too. I tried Younique and had fibers actually fall in my eyes. With this product it was not a problem.

I am usually not a L'Oreal fan, but I have to say is that their mascara can't be missed.

Erica, I am laughing because I just reviewed this mascara on Thursday and it's posted in the BBC Roundup right under your post. I bought the product because I loved the formula but hated the wand from the original Butterfly mascara. I didn't bother to read the packaging, I just bought it because I thought the wand was the new news. I was shocked when I read your review, and then looked at the back of the pack and saw that the formula is different: fiber-inflused. Although the mascara looks different on me than in your photo (I think I put on a little less), I didn't notice anything different about the formula. I must have been asleep. Thanks for the great review!

Thanks! I used two coats of mascara in the picture. One coat does not do it justice.
