When going out for a casual evening, I do not usually do a full eye makeup job. I almost always go for eyeliner and mascara; maybe something in a deep black. I have tried many black eyeliners and mascaras, and have only come across a handful which I can say I truly like (as you can tell I have high standards). One of the eye combos I have come across which I thought was good was by the brand Kiko Milano. I came across the brand during a trip to London, and I truly like the brand.
- KIKO MILANO EXTRA SCULPT VOLUME MASCARA – The mascara is a black mascara with a wand shaped like an hourglass. The volumizing mascara makes for fuller appearing lashes while at the same time the creamy formula is easy to apply and very buildable. There was a little bit of clumping, but nothing I could not brush out. Since the brush is in an hourglass shape, it easily distributes the texture of the formula. The Extra Sculpt mascara is a golden product that makes my eyelashes curly, long and thick.
- KIKO MILANO DEEP BLACK EYE MARKER – Because it is a “marker” you would think it would be chubby and hard to work with. However, this black eye marker has a small, compact tip which gently glides along the lash line with great precision. You may make the line as thick or thin as you want it, and the deep black will give some depth to your eyes while not smudging. This eyeliner is one of the easiest eyeliners I’ve used. If you are someone that has some difficulty with eyeliners I would recommend this one for its ease of use.
Combined together, this is one dynamic duo. You get the long lashes from the Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara, and deep dark eyes from the Deep Black Eye Marker. So if you are looking to on a casual night out, I would recommend this set. What kind of eye look do you aim for when going on a casual night out?
