It is my understanding that the premise behind Makeup Revolution’s Beyond Radiance Palette is to softly brighten and illuminate your face and give you a glowing appearance from within. From the reviews I read, many people are stating that this is the affordable answer to Becca or Hourglass highlighters. And it supposedly does not draw attention to fine lines or pores. Plus since it is a trio of highlighters, you have options.
As much as I like Makeup Revolution, I am unfortunately going to have to disagree with everyone’s opinion. When I swatched the trio of highlighters with my finger, I found them to be comprised of finely milled powder. I got a lot of color when I swiped with my finger and was able to see the pigmentation in each illuminator. But when I swiped my brush across the highlighter, I got nothing. There was no pigmentation or ambient lighting. It was nothing like Becca or Hourglass. If I had been applying the highlighters with my fingers, I doubt there would be such a problem. But since I prefer brushes for a more accurate application, I found myself to be disappointed.
My best advice is to save your money and get something that is going to give you the proper pigmentation and illumination. Get your money’s worth for the right highlighter. You won’t be sorry.
