The Stila Aqua Glow Serum Concealer has been out for a little while, but I did not want to miss the chance to review it. Stila claims that the concealer is infused with an innovative Electrolyte Balance System that’s formulated with ionized water, advanced hyaluronic acid, and essential minerals. The serum formula helps hydrate and support the skin while instantly concealing the appearance of dark circles, blemishes, and skin imperfections. It also melts into your skin without settling into fine lines for invisible, weightless coverage.
I have used many concealers over the years, including some drugstore concealers and some designer concealers. And I must say this one of the better concealers I have tried. The concealer came out of the tube in a liquid form which made for easy blending. And if you think that because it is a water base that you will not get enough coverage, you are very wrong. The Stila Aqua Glow Serum Concealer covered the redness around my nose, covered the dark circles under my eyes, and even added some brightness under my eyes. Because it is part serum, the concealer did not settle in my fine lines. It has a matte appearance, but does not look cakey. I read reviews where people complained that they had trouble getting the product out of the tube. I did not have such a problem, except I would say be careful squeezing the tube as the product may come flying out. Now I did use a brush for application and found that it went on smoother than with my finger.
I would definitely recommend this product. The most important thing I would say about Stila’s Aqua Glow Serum Concealer is that a little goes a long way. If you work your way up to full coverage, you will find your product lasts longer.
The Stila Aqua Glow Serum Concealer retails for $27.00. It may be purchased at Sephora, ULTA and www.stilacosmetics.com.

Oh Boy…I am so sorry I did not reply earlier. It is definitely worth considering. What is your fave concealer?
Shireen says
No worries, Erica! My favourites by far are Maybelline Instant Age Rewind and FitMe but I don’t have much darkness to conceal.

I like the FitMe line. I tried both the pressed powder and the foundation, and I was impressed!
