Since I have reached my early 40’s, I am beginning to see fine lines and puffiness around my eyes. I used serums and while it did work, the serums took a few days before I saw a difference. And since I like instant gratification, I was disappointed with the fact that I had to wait. Then one day after doing some research on Korean skincare, I came across a Collagen Eye Patch produced by Etude House. Once I received it, I was a little skeptical about whether or not it was going to give me what I wanted….instant results. I place the eye patch under my eyes as directed and waited about 20 minutes. You could have knocked me over with a feather when I saw the results. The collagen plumped my fine lines, brightened the area under my eyes and got rid of the puffiness. It is a dream come true.
The area underneath my skin became baby smooth. It was very hydrated and intensified the elasticity of the skin under my eyes. The eye patches tightened the skin around eyes by intensifying sheet made of especial natural fiber. Etude House also states that it will brighten and care darkened eyes with essence containing collagen and vitamin.
To use the patches, you simply remove the clear film from the patches and then you place the adhesive side to the area underneath your eye area. Wait 15-20 minutes and remove the patches from your eyes. You should feel a coolness and comfortable feeling. When time is up and here is any residue left, simple tap the residue into the area of your eye. You should see immediate results in the eye area.
I am a big fan of the Etude House Collagen Eye Patch. It is great if you are having some issues with the skin under and around your eyes.
The Etude House Collagen Eye Patch retails for $1.30 per set of eye patches. You may purchase the collagen eye patches from www.etudehouse.com or purchase 10 packs for $9.98 at www.amazon.com.
Dream of cleansing, nourishing and moisturizing your skin at the same time? Well with TonyMoly Floria Nutra Energy Cleansing Oil, it is possible. This TonyMoly cleansing oil contains argan oil, so it does not dry out your skin after washing your face. It features a cushion-like, fluffy microfiber texture which reduces irritation to the skin. Also, this cleanser contains rich, nourishing ingredients to help reduce any skin irritation with its smooth texture. The cleansing oil has fast liquefying cleansing power. It liquefies upon contact with water, and it effectively removes impurities from pores and dead skin cells, thus making skin look clean and clear. The oil removes heavy makeup gently while moisturizing at the same time.
The TonyMoly Floria Nutra Energy Cleansing Oil has a pleasant, light floral scent. I found it to liquefy with only a little but of water and left my skin feeling soft, clean and moisturized. The texture was smooth and mild. If you suffer from dry skin like I do, then this cleansing oil is perfect. It does not dry out your skin, and the argan oil helps keep your skin moisturized even after cleansing. It effectively removes impurities from pores and dead skin cells, making skin look clean and clear.
I am new to Korean skin care products. This cleanser was one of the first Korean cleansing oils I tried, and I was very impressed. This was a strong cleansing oil, and yet it maintained a softness to my skin. All of my makeup was removed, and my skin did not dry out. This product is definitely worthwhile. It would make a great pre-cleanser and a cleanser to wash your face with first thing in the morning.
The TonyMoly Floria Nutra Energy Cleansing Oil retails for $20.30. It may be purchased on www.amazon.com.
Spring is in full force and before we know it, Summer will be here. And as with any change of seasons, we change the color scheme of our makeup. Personally, I wear more pinks during these two seasons than any other season. Pinks often soften our face and give a sense of romance.
While going through my makeup, I realized there were five pink lipsticks which I mainly choose to wear. These colors compliment my medium skintone and can be worn day or night. So in no set order, here are my five favorite lipsticks for Spring and Summer.
1. MAC Cremesheen Hot Gossip – This MAC lipstick is a pinky plum. The lipstick is infused with pearlized pigments and a moisturizing serum blend. The shimmer in this lipstick reflects nicely and would instantly brighten anyone’s face. This lipstick glides on easily and lasts a long time.
2. Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in Manic – Manic is a soft wine color. This lipstick has a buttery feel to it and rich in color. The lipstick glides on without skipping and hydrates your lips all the while making my lips appear fuller.
3. Inglot Lipstick in #140 – This lipstick is a matte lipstick which is fuchsia/hot pink in color. This hot pink lipstick contains Vitamin E and apricot kernel oil which keeps the lips moisturized for hours. Because of the color of the lipstick, I would wear it in the evening rather than during the day.
4. Chanel Rouge Allure #93 Exaltee lipstick – Exaltee is fuchsia in color. This color can be worn during the day or night as the pigmentation is not as deep as the Inglot lipstick. It is extremely moisturizing and has just the right amount of blue/red tones.
5. Urban Decay Naked Revolution lipstick – This lipstick is a nude/pink in color. The Revolution lipstick line feels rich and buttery on your lips. The lipstick has a good amount of pigment to it, and glides on with little to no dragging. It is the perfect lipstick to wear on a daily basis.
These are my five top lipsticks for Spring and Summer. These lipsticks are moisturizing, have good pigmentation and complimentary with nearly all skintones.
MAC lipsticks retail for $18.00 and may be purchased at www.maccosmetics.com. Urban Decay lipsticks retail for $20.00 and may be purchased at Sephora and ULTA.
