We all have things we want, but cannot afford. As most people, I dream of flashy cars, fancy jewelry and flying to exotic destinations. But unlike some people, I dream of high end makeup. So in order to get a better idea of who I am as a person, I thought I would share my high-end makeup wishlist. So without further adieu, this is my high-end makeup list.
1. GIORGIO ARMANI FACE FABRIC FOUNDATION – $49.00
Who doesn’t like Giorgio Armani cosmetics? Personally, I really like their foundation. While playing on the Internet, I came across the Face Fabric Foundation. It looks wonderful! Face Fabric blurs pores and imperfections with a natural matte finish. At first touch, the formula is a soft mousse. But as the foundation spreads across the skin, it melts into a powder. Also, it has a second-skin fit due to its 3-D stretch technology which allows the formula to move with your skin, leaving your complexion re-texturized and smooth. A definite must have foundation.
2. GUERLAIN METEORITES HEART SHAPED GLOW SHAPING STROBING PALETTE – $63.00
In a compact, Guerlain sculpted and refined three contrasting shades of powder. It consists of two blushes and a highlighter which come together to luminously sculpt your complexion and redefine the facial contours into a heart shape. The dark pink shade to brings out the cheekbones, an iridescent pink shade in which to apply to the hairline and a pearly beige tone to refine your nose and highlight lips. Its lightweight texture becomes one with skin, leaving a rosy, glowing complexion all day long.
3, NARS THE NARSISSIST WANTED EYESHADOW PALETTE – $59.00
Want eyes that others envy? With the Narsissist Wanted Eyeshadow Palette, you can achieve that. This palette introduces an all-new pure pigment formula for the richest color payoff in just one stroke. Create endless looks with this 12 shadow palette with shadows in ranges of buttery matte, lustrous satin and glittering metallic finishes. The versatile range of pale pinks, seductive nudes and glistening rose golds play well on all skin tones. A bold formula anyone would love.
4. SISLEY-PARIS PHYTO SOURCILS DESIGNS 3-IN-1 BROW PENCIL – $62.00
This ultimate multi-tasking eyebrow pencil has three specific functions: a) taming brush, b) triangular-tipped eyebrow pencil to precisely reshape, redesign and fill in your eyebrows and, c) a highlighter to apply under the arch of your eyebrow. The gliding texture of the triangular-tipped pencil makes for an easy, expert application. The pencil is buildable, from natural to more intense. And the universal shade highlighter powder enables just the right amount to be applied under your eyebrow. So instead of purchasing a spoolie brush, an eyebrow pencil and a highlighter, you get all three in one.
5. SISLEY-PARISH MASCARA ULTRA STRETCH – $67.00
I know what you are already saying; $67.00 for mascara?!?! Well you are correct. You have to be a little crazy if you are willing to purchase mascara for $67.00. But with this particular mascara you can achieve an intense and luminous look in the blink of an eye. The brush is unique in that it is comprised of two different nylon fibers; one which is a hollow nylon fiber that allows fibers for a wider diameter for optimal combing and beautifully flawless lash separation and definition. And the second, a solid fiber which is more supple and narrower, allowing greater mascara absorption and efficient coating for a lash volumizing effect.
So those would be my top five favorites. Of course there is more on my list, but I am sure you do not want to sit and read a list of makeup consisting of three pages. I will end my list on that note.
What are some of your to die for cosmetics? And how much is too much for makeup?
