There are plenty of contour and highlight duos on the market. A lot are not pigmented or the beige portion of the compact is too red or orange. The Diorblush Sculpt Professional Contouring Powder Blush comes in pink, coral, beige and brown. The product is enclosed in a navy, slim case with a large brush. I chose the Beige color as I wanted to use it for contouring and it has an ivory slab of powder to be used as a highlighter. The beige is a a cool colored beige with a slight pink hue. The ivory powder is a true ivory color. The beige color is meant to be applied to the hollows of your cheekbones, along the bridge of your nose and to the jawline the face for a refining effect. You are more or less making a number three along your face.
The Diorsculpt Professional Contouring Powder Blush in Beige came out very light. It took a couple of swipes before I saw the color beige on my face. As for the ivory, it took the same amount of swipes. Now I have read where customers have tried other colors and had no problems with pigment. It could be that the beige color is too pale of a color for my medium complexion.
On a more positive note, the blush is very soft and silky when you put it on. The compact is small enough for travel or for putting in your cosmetics case. And the color portion is blendable while the ivory portion is pale enough to be a highlighter, if it had it not be for the problem of pigmentation.
Don’t get me wrong. I am a Dior fan. I am willing to try the brown shade and see how that works. But for now I cannot recommend the beige.

The shade does look really light and I think you’re right about it being a touch too light for your skin tone. Is it possible for you to return it?

I thought about returning it. But I have since lost the receipt. So I think I will try the deeper shade as I believe this is a good product.
