This pink brightening, smoothing make-up primer is part of the K-Beauty group. With a fresh aurora glitter base and pink color, it corrects uneven skin tone and brightens your overall complexion. Silicone particles fill in enlarged pores and bumps to blur and smooth skin’s surface for flawless and silky makeup application, while aloe vera and other moisturizing ingredients soothe your skin, keeping it moisturized all day long. As with all primers you apply all over your face after your skin care regimen, and then apply before your BB cream or foundation. But in addition to it acting as a primer, the Too School for School Pink Girl Jelly base claims it can act as a highlighter.
The fresh floral scent is appealing for me, it’s delicate, not overwhelming. I distributed The Too School For School easily with my fingers. After application, I saw a little bit of a pearly pinkish glow. But it was not as extreme as the product claimed. However, my skin appeared softer, smoother, and it dried to a moist feeling on my skin. I also noticed my skin appeared healthier, and it even had somewhat of a plumping effect to my skin. It is perfect for those with dry skin or if you just was to look a whole lot perkier.
As for Too Cool for School Pink Girl Jelly Base working as a highlighter, I only saw a pale glow. It could be the coloring of my skin, but I read some of the other reviews for this product, and people seemed to have had the same problem – just a little bit of a glow.
In conclusion, I like the product okay. It made for a terrific primer, as my foundation went on smoothly over this primer. My skin did feel soft, and it did plump most of my fine lines. Finally, it kept my skin moisturized during the day. But it did not act as a great highlighter. I would definitely choose a different highlighter rather than this one.
The Too Cool For School Pink Girl Jelly Base retails for $22.00, plus $4.49 for shipping. It may be purchased at www.amazon.com.
