Inspired by 冬, the Chinese character for "winter", the emblem resembles a skater at the top and a skier at the bottom. The flowing ribbon-like motif between them symbolises the host country's rolling mountains, Olympic venues, ski pistes and skating rinks. It also points to the fact that the Games will coincide with the Chinese New Year.
北京2022年冬奧會(huì)會(huì)徽以漢字“冬”為靈感來(lái)源。會(huì)徽的上半部分展現(xiàn)滑冰運(yùn)動(dòng)員的造型，下半部分展現(xiàn)滑雪運(yùn)動(dòng)員的英姿，中間舞動(dòng)的線條代表舉辦地起伏的山巒、賽場(chǎng)、冰雪滑道，也象征著北京冬奧會(huì)將在中國(guó)春節(jié)期間舉行。
The use of blue in the emblem represents dreams, the future and the purity of ice and snow, while red and yellow – the colours of China's national flag – symbolise passion, youth and vitality.
會(huì)徽以藍(lán)色為主色調(diào),寓意夢(mèng)想與未來(lái),以及冰雪的明亮純潔。紅黃兩色源自中國(guó)國(guó)旗的顏色，也代表著運(yùn)動(dòng)的激情、青春與活力。
IOC President Thomas Bach said that the emblem would provide "a common image for people throughout the globe to connect with. It stands for the vision of Beijing 2022, showcasing the best of China to the world, a unique blend of modern and ancient traditions，and, of course, bringing the joy of winter sports to a new generation in China and beyond."
國(guó)際奧委會(huì)主席托馬斯?巴赫表示，全世界的人們都會(huì)以北京冬奧會(huì)會(huì)徽這一形象彼此聯(lián)系溝通；會(huì)徽代表了北京冬奧會(huì)的愿景，把中國(guó)的美好展現(xiàn)給全世界，用獨(dú)特的方式把現(xiàn)代與傳統(tǒng)融合在一起；會(huì)徽還會(huì)把冬季運(yùn)動(dòng)的樂(lè)趣帶給中國(guó)乃至世界的年輕一代。
The official emblem of the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games incorporates the Chinese character for 'fly', 飛 , which conjures up the image of a wheelchair athlete surging towards the finish line and victory. It also embodies the spirit of the Paralympians and their quest for sporting excellence, a quest that inspires and excites the world.
北京冬殘奧會(huì)會(huì)徽設(shè)計(jì)展現(xiàn)了漢字“飛”的動(dòng)感和力度，巧妙地幻化成一個(gè)向前滑行、沖向勝利的輪椅運(yùn)動(dòng)員。會(huì)徽也展現(xiàn)了冬殘奧運(yùn)動(dòng)員頑強(qiáng)拼搏的精神以及他們對(duì)卓越表現(xiàn)的不懈追求，這種追求正在鼓舞、激勵(lì)著整個(gè)世界。
The venues for the Winter Games in 2022 have been divided into three zones, or clusters: Beijing, Yanqing, and Zhangjiakou.

Beijing zone 北京賽區(qū)
Located in central Beijing, this cluster will primarily stage the ice sports of the Winter Olympics, as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Games.

Yanqing zone 延慶賽區(qū)
Yanqing's Olympic venues will stage the alpine skiing events as well as the sliding events: bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton.

Zhangjiakou zone 張家口
Zhangjiakou's venues will stage the majority of the ski and snowboarding events at the 2022 Winter Games, including freestyle, cross-country, ski jumping, Nordic combined, and biathlon.
張家口賽區(qū)的賽場(chǎng)將承辦2022年冬奧會(huì)的大部分單板和雙板項(xiàng)目的比賽，包括自由式滑雪、越野滑雪、跳臺(tái)滑雪、北歐兩項(xiàng)和冬季兩項(xiàng)。
