一、2024年工作回顧
I A Review of Our Work in 2024
各位代表！
Fellow Deputies,
回顧過去一年，我們?cè)诶щy中頂壓前行、在挑戰(zhàn)中逆勢(shì)而上，取得的成績(jī)來之不易。這是以習(xí)近平同志為核心的黨中央堅(jiān)強(qiáng)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的結(jié)果，是習(xí)近平新時(shí)代中國特色社會(huì)主義思想科學(xué)指導(dǎo)的結(jié)果，是中共北京市委帶領(lǐng)全市人民攻堅(jiān)克難、艱苦奮斗的結(jié)果。在此，我謹(jǐn)代表北京市人民政府，向全市人民，向全體人大代表、政協(xié)委員，向各民主黨派、各人民團(tuán)體和各界人士，向中央和國家機(jī)關(guān)各部門各單位，向各兄弟省區(qū)市，向駐京人民解放軍指戰(zhàn)員、武警部隊(duì)官兵，向所有關(guān)心支持首都建設(shè)的香港特別行政區(qū)同胞、澳門特別行政區(qū)同胞、臺(tái)灣同胞、海外僑胞和國際友人，表示衷心的感謝！
Over the past year, we have persevered through difficulties, risen to challenges, and attained hard-won results. These achievements are attributable to the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, and the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. They are also attributable to the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and all citizens of Beijing, who have forged ahead in unity and with tenacity. Here, on behalf of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the people of Beijing, to the deputies to the Municipal People’s Congress and members of the Municipal CPPCC Committee, to other political parties, people’s organizations, and individuals from all sectors of society, to all CPC central organs and central government departments, to other municipalities, provinces, and autonomous regions, to officers and rank-and-file members of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and the People’s Armed Police Force based in Beijing, to our fellow countrymen and women in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, and to overseas Chinese and foreign friends who have actively supported and contributed to the capital’s development.
同時(shí)，我們也清醒地看到面臨的困難和挑戰(zhàn)，主要是：
However, we are also acutely aware of the difficulties and challenges that confront us. These include:
人口資源環(huán)境矛盾依然突出，首都功能還需進(jìn)一步優(yōu)化提升；
The resources and environmental capacity available to us are still not sufficient to support our large population, and efforts are needed to further strengthen Beijing’s capacity to serve as the capital.
消費(fèi)不振，外資下降，一些產(chǎn)業(yè)面臨增長壓力，部分企業(yè)特別是中小微企業(yè)生產(chǎn)經(jīng)營較為困難；
Consumer spending remains weak, foreign investment is declining, and some industries face growth pressure. Businesses, particularly micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, are grappling with challenges in production and operations.
關(guān)鍵核心技術(shù)突破仍有不足，高質(zhì)量科技供給需要持續(xù)加強(qiáng)，科技成果轉(zhuǎn)化應(yīng)用還不順暢；
Greater breakthroughs are needed in key and core technologies, along with stronger supply in high-quality technologies and smoother translation and application of academic breakthroughs in science and technology.
鞏固提升空氣污染治理成效、緩解交通擁堵等仍是突出難題，提高城市精細(xì)化治理水平還需久久為功；
Consolidating and expanding progress in air pollution control, and alleviating traffic congestion remain pressing challenges. Raising our capacity for precision governance requires unrelenting efforts.
民生領(lǐng)域還存在不少短板，居民收入增長不足，就業(yè)總量壓力和結(jié)構(gòu)性矛盾加大，教育醫(yī)療養(yǎng)老等公共服務(wù)優(yōu)質(zhì)資源分布還不均衡；
Many issues need to be addressed in areas that are important to the public wellbeing, such as the insufficient growth of residents’ income, mounting pressures on aggregate job creation, greater structural imbalances in job offering, and uneven distribution of quality public services in education, healthcare, and eldercare, among others.
政府服務(wù)管理效能仍需進(jìn)一步提高。
There is still room for improvement in the efficiency of government services and management.
對(duì)于這些問題，我們將高度重視，全力以赴改進(jìn)工作，決不辜負(fù)全市人民厚望！
We will take these issues seriously, redouble our efforts to make improvements, and do all we can to live up to the public’s expectations.
